HARD
MOLDING
WHAT IS
HARDMOLDING? |
| This is a process in which we mold the holster so
that as your belt is tightened, your gun is pulled "Close and Comfortable".
Because of this process, the leather becomes rigid enough to accommodate
the weight of the gun as well as hold it firmly in the holster until you
draw. We make an indentation behind the front of the trigger guard on the
backside of the holster so your gun snaps in for a secure fit. We use 8-9
oz. cowhide so the Hardmolding™ lasts. (Thinner leather, seemingly fine at
first, will break down under the weight of a gun.) |

WHY THE TWO DIFFERENT
DESIGNS? |
| Colt type guns need to be canted more forward and
must ride higher that other guns. Sigs, Glocks, etc. start their adjustment
from another position. Getting the gun to fit comfortably where you want
it is our goal. |
