This is a holster
that we named after Dave Spaulding because he guided us through
it’s design. Many of
you know Lt. Spaulding from his informative articles on guns and
holsters which appear
in a variety of gun magazines. It’s a holster with Dave Spaulding’s preferences.
Basically a combination of our #2 with its easy on and off
snap straps and our #7 with its easy access dropped front.
It is made in our Thin Kydex, with a tension screw and
a more straight up cant than our other holsters.
Dave feels that this configuration makes it much easier for
him to draw, and the holster design allows for a quick release and
direct presentation of his weapon.
We are very proud to have Dave Spaulding’s endorsement for
this holster.
This
holster can be made to fit 1 ¼”, 1 ½”,or 1 ¾” belts, and
also can be made as a crossdraw (shown below).
