UNIVERSAL HOLSTER
This unique holster is an accumulation of many
of the innovations that have been designed into our leather
holsters. Kydex® as a material is incredibly
strong and workable. It is also waterproof so damage to your
gun from perspiration is not a problem. But its most important
appeal to me was that it is very thin and can still do the job.
It feels like you are just carrying your gun without
a holster. This is especially good for comfort while wearing
IWB. These holsters fit like our leather holsters, close and
comfortable, not the usual "stick out" Kydex®
holster. In fact, compared to our #K1 holster, most other Kydex®
holsters feel like you're wearing a truck.
As I was making IWB samples I realized that it
could also be adapted to many different uses while being thin
and easy to conceal. So this holster is a unit that can be changed
by using different adapters to fit your needs. It has tension
screws and a body protector. Our customers can buy it for one
purpose in mind and then adapt it to another purpose later when
the need arises, or for those who know what they want at the
time of purchase, can order the other options.
The #K1 comes with IWB stationary straps which
can be adapted to snap straps (#48, #49, #50). Your other choice
is belt slide loops for belt carry for the same price in 1 ¼"
or 1½" size. You also have the option of Inside Outside
adapters (like our #16 holster) for an additional price. The
IWB adapters, Belt Slide adapters, and Inside Outside adapters
allow for adjustable cant.
The #K1 is a holster that has enough advantages,
that even if you're a "dyed in the wool Leather Holster person",
you'll be able to find a good use for the #K1 holster.
