FIST CLOSE QUARTER COMBAT

One thing about any martial art technique is that if you learn it wrong when you start out, it could take years to break a bad habit. So when I approached Hans Marrero to make our basics tape, I knew that he would show you basic techniques that not only worked, but were technically correct so you would be able to build your techniques on a good foundation. Knowing how to do self-defense techniques correctly not only will make your movements and actions more efficient, but also will make the techniques more effective. As I watched the taping, I realized that even though I have had a lot of experience in martial arts, there were things that I didn't totally understand until I was able to watch a real expert do them and explain them. Mr. Marrero's career as a high ranking Marine trainer gave him the experience to not only break down the moves into an understandable presentation but he also explains why these techniques work on a person. His down to earth style makes you understand why he was so valuable in training so many Marines over the years. His partner in these tapes is Louis Marquez.
